Reggia di Monza

The Villa Reale in Monza, built to the orders of Archduke Ferdinand of Austria and subsequently used by the Italian royal family, is a splendid example of Neoclassical architecture. The building, park, orangery and gardens combine to make a truly enchanting estate. Numerous activities are organised during the year, and there are also various places to eat, including the Villa Reale farmsteads and restaurants, as well as designated picnic areas in the park.

You can visit the royal apartments, explore the park and wander round the orangery, which displays modern and contemporary art in a highly original environment.

It is always worth having a look at the Reggia’s interesting and varied programme of events before setting off.
