Restriction of TILO night services from 6 November 2020.

Due to the development of the situation in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the TILO night service will be suspended from 6 November 2020 until further notice. This restriction on night-time traffic takes place at national level as a result of the latest restrictions decreed by the Federal Council. The public transport protection measures planned by the Swiss and Italian authorities will remain in force depending on the national territory affected.
From 6 November 2020, the TILO night service will be suspended until further notice. The suspension will take place at national level and in coordination with the cantons, the federal government, the Federal Office of Transport (FOT) and the leaders in public transport SBB and PostBus. The decision to discontinue night-time connections is due to the early closure of all public premises at 11 p.m. by the Federal Council.
The following connections will be cancelled:
- TILO Pigiama leaving Chiasso at 2.27 a.m. and arriving in Bellinzona at 3.26 a.m.
- TILO Pigiama leaving Bellinzona at 3.34 a.m. and arriving in Chiasso at 4.34 a.m.
- TILO Pigiama leaving from Locarno at 3.05 a.m. and arriving in Biasca at 3.47 a.m.
- TILO Pigiama leaving from Castione-Arbedo at 3.23 a.m. and arriving in Locarno at 3.55 a.m.
