From 14 September until 30 October 2026 two S50 services are shortened to/from Busto Arsizio:

• the S50 connection departing Bellinzona at 20:46 is cancelled between Busto Arsizio and Malpensa Airport
• the S50 connection originally departing Malpensa Airport T2 at 23:13 runs from Busto Arsizio with a departure time of 23:40

A replacement bus service is provided between Busto Arsizio and Malpensa Aeroporto. Please consult the Trenord online timetable.
The measure is due to maintenance works on the line.

In Ticino, travellers with disabilities who require assistance boarding or alighting from trains within Swiss territory can announce their needs at least one hour before departure by calling the free number 0800 007 102 (from Switzerland) or +41 800 007 102 (from abroad). This service is available from 5:00 a.m. to midnight.

In Italy, travellers with disabilities are invited to communicate their needs, at least 48 hours before departure, on the dedicated number 800.210.955 (from Italy, active every day from 8.15 to 19.45).
