The S90 line connects Giubiasco with Lugano and Mendrisio via the Ceneri mountain route.

The trains run in half-hourly intervals with a stop in Rivera-Bironico, Mezzovico, Taverne-Torricella and Lamone-Cadempino, and at hourly intervals the journey is extended from/to Mendrisio, stopping at all regional traffic stations.

In addition, some S90 connections are extended from/to Bellinzona. 

It is recommended that all passengers check the travel times for the connection they require.
