Locarno‒Lugano‒Chiasso‒Milano

 

The R80 line connects Locarno and Lugano with Milano Centrale via the Ceneri Base Tunnel.

The trains operate in half-hourly intervals between Locarno and Chiasso, and the journey is extended at hourly intervals from/to Milano Centrale.

All trains operate between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a stop at Minusio, Tenero, Gordola, Riazzino, Cadenazzo, Sant’Antonino, Lugano, Lugano-Paradiso, Mendrisio, Chiasso, Como S. Giovanni, Albate-Camerlata, Seregno and Monza.

The S10/S50 lines and the EC and IC trains operate between Lugano and Bellinzona through the Ceneri Base Tunnel.

It is recommended that all passengers check the travel times for the connection they require.
