There are ticket machines at all SBB stops, which also offer services from third parties as well as simple and convenient ticket purchasing.
In Lombardy, train tickets and travelcards can be purchased at machines in the stations, at authorised points of sale outside the stations or, if available, at Trenord or Trenitalia ticket counters. In larger stations, numerous other services are also available.
In Ticino, travellers can make use of the SBB P+Rail service at stations. They can therefore park their car for a reasonable charge.
In Lombardy, passengers can park their car free or charge or for a fee, depending on the place of departure. The parking spaces are managed by third party suppliers, not by Trenord.
