On the days 9–12, 16–19 October, and 13–16 and 20–23 November 2026 from 20:20 on Friday until 4:20 on Monday morning, the Monte Olimpino 1 tunnel will be closed for maintenance.

This measure affects the following TILO services:

• RE80 services to/from Milano Centrale will run via the Monte Olimpino 2 tunnel and will not stop at Como S. Giovanni and Como Camerlata
• S10 services will run only as far as Chiasso
• S40 services will run only as far as Chiasso

In addition to the TILO services, EuroCity services to/from Milano Centrale are also affected; they will run via the Monte Olimpino 2 tunnel and will not stop at Como S. Giovanni.

In Ticino, travellers with disabilities who require assistance boarding or alighting from trains within Swiss territory can announce their needs at least one hour before departure by calling the free number 0800 007 102 (from Switzerland) or +41 800 007 102 (from abroad). This service is available from 5:00 a.m. to midnight.

In Italy, travellers with disabilities are invited to communicate their needs, at least 48 hours before departure, on the dedicated number 800.210.955 (from Italy, active every day from 8.15 to 19.45).
