On 6, 7 and 8 November 2026 there are significant changes to services throughout the day. S10 connections are cancelled between Biasca and Bellinzona. Passengers should use the IR services, which run to a revised timetable, regular bus services or the replacement bus service. S10 connections also run to a revised timetable between Bellinzona and Giubiasco. S20 connections run to a revised timetable between Castione-Arbedo and Giubiasco.

In addition to these measures, there are further timetable changes overnight from 8 to 9 November 2026. Specifically, from 21:50 until 04:30 S10 connections are cancelled between Biasca and Mendrisio / Chiasso and RE80 connections are cancelled between Locarno, S. Antonino, Lugano and Mendrisio. In addition, S20 connections are cancelled between Locarno and S. Antonino / Castione-Arbedo. Passengers use the replacement bus services.

Attention: buses may depart earlier than the original scheduled time of the train.

These measures are due to major infrastructure work on the line. Please allow for longer journey times. The online timetable has been updated.

In Ticino, travellers with disabilities who require assistance boarding or alighting from trains within Swiss territory can announce their needs at least one hour before departure by calling the free number 0800 007 102 (from Switzerland) or +41 800 007 102 (from abroad). This service is available from 5:00 a.m. to midnight.

Only a limited number of bicycles can be transported on the replacement buses.
