From 22:00 on Friday 13 November until 05:00 on Monday 16 November 2026 there are major changes to the connections S10, S20 and RE80. In particular, the S10 connections are cancelled between Biasca and Bellinzona. Travellers should use the IR connections that run on a modified timetable, the regular bus services or the replacement bus service. The S10 connections also run on a modified timetable between Bellinzona and Giubiasco. The S20 connections run on a modified timetable between Castione-Arbedo and Giubiasco.

In addition to these measures, there are further changes to services during the night of 15–16 November 2026. In particular, from 21:50 to 04:30 the S10 connections are cancelled between Biasca and Mendrisio / Chiasso and the RE80 connections are cancelled between Locarno, S. Antonino, Lugano and Mendrisio. In addition, the S20 connections are cancelled between Locarno and S. Antonino / Castione-Arbedo. Travellers use the replacement bus services.

Attention: buses may depart earlier than the original scheduled time of the train.

In Ticino, travellers with disabilities who require assistance boarding or alighting from trains within Swiss territory can announce their needs at least one hour before departure by calling the free number 0800 007 102 (from Switzerland) or +41 800 007 102 (from abroad). This service is available from 5:00 a.m. to midnight.

Only a limited number of bicycles can be transported on the replacement buses.
