From 26 December 2025 to 5 January 2026, due to significant infrastructure works, the railway line between Varese, Gallarate and Malpensa will be subject to major service changes.
Services between Varese and Gallarate will be completely suspended, except for the S50 and S40 services, which for the duration of the works will have Gallarate as their temporary terminus and will stop at all stations along the line.
A replacement bus service is planned for passengers travelling to Malpensa T1 and T2.
