From 23:10 on Friday 6 March to 4:50 on Monday 9 March 2026, all RE80 and S20 connections are replaced by buses between Cadenazzo and Locarno. Please note: the replacement buses have an earlier departure time from Locarno to ensure connections at Cadenazzo. The measures are due to maintenance work on the railway line. Please allow for a longer journey time.

In Ticino, travellers with disabilities who require assistance boarding or alighting from trains within Swiss territory can announce their needs at least one hour before departure by calling the free number 0800 007 102 (from Switzerland) or +41 800 007 102 (from abroad). This service is available from 5:00 a.m. to midnight.

Only a limited number of bicycles can be transported on the replacement buses.
