From 11:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2026, until 4:20 AM on Monday, May 4, 2026, there will be significant changes to the service of RE80 and S90 connections. All RE80 connections terminating in Chiasso, as well as S90 connections terminating in Mendrisio, will terminate in Lugano. Travelers will use alternative connections. RE80 connections departing from Milano Centrale will split in Lugano: the front train continues to Locarno, while the train in the back will travel as S90 to Giubiasco. There will be exeptions during peak travel times. The online timetable is up to date.
