On the occasion of the beginning of school holidays, a high volume of passengers is expected travelling towards the main Italian tourist destinations. To cope with this increased demand, on Saturday 11 July 2026 an additional RE80 service will run towards Milano Porta Garibaldi via Varese and Gallarate.
The additional service will run as follows:
Attention: the additional TILO service will not run to Chiasso; instead, from Mendrisio it will continue to Milano Porta Garibaldi via Varese and Gallarate.
Additional connections have the following stops: Minusio, Tenero, Gordola, Riazzino, Cadenazzo, S. Antonino, Lugano, Paradiso, Mendrisio, Stabio, Varese, Gallarate, Rho Fiera Milano. Travelers from Mendrisio wishing to continue towards Chiasso should use the S10 services.
