From 22:00 on Friday 30 October until 22:00 on Sunday 8 November 2026, major infrastructure works will take place between Vezia and Capolago. This will cause several changes to TILO services.

The main measures planned on the TILO network:

• Some RE80 services have departure times up to 7 minutes earlier, resulting in missed connections with IC services.
• Some RE80 services terminating at Chiasso will be cancelled between Lugano and Chiasso. Passengers use S10 services.
• Some S90 services will be cancelled between Lugano and Mendrisio. Passengers use alternative connections.

Passengers are also advised to pay attention to any changes to InterCity services.

Measures are being put in place to maintain services during peak hours. Please check the timetable online before departure.

In Ticino, travellers with disabilities who require assistance boarding or alighting from trains within Swiss territory can announce their needs at least one hour before departure by calling the free number 0800 007 102 (from Switzerland) or +41 800 007 102 (from abroad). This service is available from 5:00 a.m. to midnight.
