On 26 May 2026 the Giro d’Italia returns to Ticino, with an entire stage taking place within the canton, from Bellinzona to Carì via the Blenio Valley. The stage, 113 km long, will be held during the final week of the Giro d’Italia and could be decisive for the overall classification. For the occasion, TILO, together with the organisers, has prepared a rail transport plan.
