Due to renovation works at Greco Pirelli station, from 14 to 18 October 2025 there will be changes to the operation of the first two morning RE80 services. In particular, the service departing Chiasso at 4:31 will terminate at Sesto S. Giovanni and will not run to Milano Centrale. The 5:43 connection from Milano Centrale will be cancelled between Milano Centrale and Sesto S. Giovanni. Passengers can travel from Sesto S. Giovanni at 5:49 towards Lugano and Locarno.
