As every year, strong traffic flows towards the main Italian tourist destinations are expected ahead of the long weekend. To meet this increased demand, two additional connections will run on Thursday 29 May, from Locarno to Milano Centrale via Varese and Gallarate. Furthermore, on Sunday 1. June 2025, two additional connections will run from Milano Centrale via Chiasso to Lugano and Locarno.
On Thursday 29 May the first connection will depart from Locarno at 9:52 and arrive at Milano Centrale at 11:55. The second service will depart at 11:52, arriving at Milano Centrale at 13:55. The additional TILO services will not run to Chiasso; instead, they will continue from Mendrisio to Milano Centrale passing through Varese and Gallarate. Travellers from Mendrisio wishing to continue towards Chiasso should use the S10 services.
On Sunday, 1 June 2025, the first connections will depart from Milano Centrale at 13:55 and arrive in Locarno at 16:08. The second connection will depart at 14:55 and arrive in Locarno at 17:08. Both services will travel through Chiasso and Lugano, with no intermediate stops between Chiasso and Lugano.
