On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June, a major railway system will be put into service between Vezia and Capolago. This will result in several changes to TILO services.

On Saturday 21 June, from 5:00 to 21:00, all RE80 services to/from Milano Centrale will be cancelled between Lugano and Mendrisio. Additionally, all RE80 services to/from Chiasso will be cancelled between Lugano and Chiasso. All S90 services will be cancelled between Lugano and Mendrisio. Passengers are advised to use TILO S10 services.

From 21:00 on Saturday 21 to 8:30 on Sunday 22 June, the following services will be replaced by buses:

• RE80 between Cadenazzo and Lugano/Chiasso
• S10 between Giubiasco and Chiasso
• S50 between Mendrisio and Varese
• S90 between Taverne-Torricella and Lugano/Mendrisio

From midnight on Saturday 21 to 06:00 on Sunday 22 June, all rail traffic south of Bellinzona will be completely suspended. Furthermore, all regional TILO S20 services will be cancelled between Castione-Arbedo and Cadenazzo. Replacement buses will operate.

These measures are included in the timetable changes fo summer construction work.

Only a limited number of bicycles can be transported on the replacement buses.
